Pressed Flowers by Chris Jacobs. Pressed flowers is an ancient practice used in burial tombs, potpourri, to decorate Victorian homes, and in the 16th century, Japanese artists began the practice of Oshibana, in which they would create large pictures. Botanists have used pressed flowers to preserve specimens for study for centuries.

Certified Master Gardener Chris Jacobs will teach about which flowers are best to use, how to preserve and press them for beautiful home décor.  Chris is a Distinguished Master Gardener with more than 1000 volunteer hours and 18 years of experience sharing her extensive knowledge.
