Pollinator Gardens

The human race simply cannot survive without pollination.   Roughly 80% of the world’s major food crops either require or benefit from animal and insect pollination. Pollen can be carried by the wind, water, animals, or insects. Insect pollination takes place by more than just bees.  Butterflies, wasps, moths, hummingbirds, ants, beetles, and flies all help out as well.  Join Dodge County Master Gardener Carol Shirk to learn how to plant a pollinator garden to help out the pollinators and beautify your landscape in the process.
